On South Higuera in downtown SLO you'll find a small slice of Italy.  Vieni Vai Trattoria serves up an authentic Italian experience, minus the long flight.

Chef Guiseppe Silvestri found his passion for cooking as a young boy in southern Italy where he helped his mother Giovanna in the kitchen.  Giovanna sent Giuseppe to the culinary academy in Rome where he developed his own style of cooking, while staying true to Italy's traditional cuisine. We are now fortunate to have access to his authentic Italian recipes here on the Central Coast.

Giuseppe and his wife Debbie offer San Luis Obispo a taste of Italian culture at Vieni Vai Trattoria.  Since 1982, the Silvestri family has brought Central Coast residents signature dishes like Cioppino and a home made Tiramisu that was featured on the Rachel Ray show.

When you step through the doors of Vieni Vai you feel the warmth of the Mediterranean. The walls are beautifully painted with Italian scenery. Tucked in the corner is the only wood fired pizza oven on the Central Coast.  Most importantly, you'll be greeted by one of the nicest families we have ever met.  The Silvestri's pour their heart and soul into the experience they create for their customers and this is why we love Vieni Vai Trattoria.
