Milk & Honey Tapas is located in the middle of downtown Santa Barbara at 30 W Anapamu Street, a stones throw from State Street. Milk & Honey is a hotspot on the weekends and a chill weekday joint for those seeking a respite from their day’s busy schedule. There is seating outside for those who enjoy the fresh air and street scene, inside; there is a moody ambiance that runs the length of the long, receding tapas bar.
Most notable is Milk & Honey’s extensive craft cocktail list. No stone is left unturned with Whiskey n’ Bourbon, Vodka Infusions, Gin and Tequila n’ Mezcal all receiving some serious creative treatment from behind the bar. From The Old-Fashioned to a Thai-tini (thai chilli infused vodka, falernum, lime juice, house-made lemon grass cane syrup, served up) there is something for the most adventurous, the most predictable and everyone in between.
The tapas menu is diverse and eclectic, serving delicious small dishes from the sea, field and farm. One of our favorite dishes to share is the Paellita, a not-so-traditional Paella, with sautéed seasonal seafood, beef chorizo, mushrooms, red bell pepper and shallots over garlic cilantro rice. The vege plates will please both meat lovers and herbivores. Som“brie”sas pulls together brie with caramelized onion, green apples and a balsamic reduction. Delicious. Plates from the farm include succulent pulled pork, prosciutto bundled with goat cheese, and three different filet mignon plates all worthy of “mouth watering” status.
Whatever the calling, we think you’ll love Milk & Honey as a place to relax and enjoy some Spanish inspired eats and a delectable list of creatively designed cocktails.
