It's no secret, Ca' Dario is considered the best Italian in Santa Barbara. We couldn't agree more. Chef Dario Furlati spent many years as an apprentice in several kitchens in Italy, England, and Switzerland. He has had a hand in the success of many local restaurants including Pane e Vino, Trattoria Via Vai, Bucatini, Enoteca Primo, and Tre Luna. Besides being one of the nicest people you will ever meet, Dario has succeeded in bringing truly authentic Italian to Santa Barbara.
Start off your night with the Insalata Ca' Dario (beautiful arugula salad) or the Ciotola Di Mare (decadent sea combination of clams mussels and shrimp in a tomato and saffron broth), then enjoy a number of different Primi (First) or Secondi's (Second) like the Penne Al Salmona e Panna (delicious penne pasta combination) or the Lombata al Rosmarino (Veal grilled with rosemary and olive oil).
Ca'Dario sources local ingredients and a combination of local and Italian wines that compliment their delicious combinations. Since this is a locals favorite dinner reservations are a must.
If you've been to Ca'Dario you know what we're talking about, if not then you haven't truly experienced authentic Italian in Santa Barbara.
