Some of our favorites include the California Halibut, and one of their many irresistible wood-fired pizza creations like the Organic Pear, Heirloom Prosciutto, Truffle Oil, Gorgonzola, and Balsamic Reduction.
As we headed down Industrial way in search of Avant we felt lost because this gem is hidden in a "neoclassic modern industrial" part of town. Once you get there you'll discover why we call Avant Tapas and Wine one of the best restaurants on the Central Coast.



I was totally surprised about this place. It is a gem in a hidden spot. I am already making plans for another visit. Great Fun!

Avant has an incredibly friendly and accommodating staff, as well as incredible food (of which most involve locally grown items) and knowledgeable staff providing both food and wine recommendations. Great place to go if you’re 1 person, on a date or with a group of folks.
