Why we love Alcazar-
Tucked into the curbside on the Santa Barbara Mesa’s Cliff Drive lies Alcazar Tapas Bar. The interior exudes a warm ambiance, inviting diners to slip into a candle lit table and share some decadent Spanish delights. Alcazar offers a superb range of tapas, small dishes originating from Spain, which include everything fresh and tasty from the ranch to the sea.
Some of our favorite tapas include Chorizo con Gambas, Tortilla Española, and the mouth watering Filet con Champiñones. For the veggie lover there is a long list of tapas, the Brussels Sprouts in Spanish olive oil are out of this world. How can that be possible? Just taste and see.
To wash it all down, Alcazar has mastered the art of hand-shaken concoctions. Alcazar mixes and blends the most exotic of flavors and fresh ingredients into some seriously tasty cocktails. A favorite of ours is “Holy Crop”, a mix of organic cucumber vodka, elderflower liqueur, fresh mint, lime and soda. Amen! (Their Mojitos are something to brag about too!)

The service and drinks at Alcazar are exceptional – as are many of their tapas. I highly recommend an evening there. I only heard about Alcazar through Central Coast Dining, so I highly appreciate that Central Coast Dining promotes folks going to local restaurants; it’s prompted me to try excellent restaurants that I’ve never been to, even in a city where I reside. Alcazar has moved up high on my list of restaurants in Santa Barbara.

The food here is perfection! Even if it sounds borderline humdrum on the menu, the execution and flavors are to die for!

Alcazar is one of our favorite restaurants in town. The drinks and food are unique and delicious. The staff is what makes the experience exceptional!
